Wastewater Superintendent

Overview

Position description: This position is responsible for the efficient operations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the collections system, while providing staff leadership to ensure regulatory compliance. Direct the day-to-day activities, supervise operations of all of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and collection system by planning work, directing personal, and assigning work to be performed, coordinating and preparing operation and maintenance repairs, and supervise required process control laboratory testing.

Requirements are as follows:

• Class II Ohio EPA Wastewater Certification
• Possess a valid Ohio Driver License
• Basic mechanical, computer, and math skills
• Must be readily available for overtime as needed
• Must be familiar with laboratory and equipment procedures
