Overview

As a full-time Hattie Larlham Recreation Assistant, you will plan and coordinate tasks related to games, movies, crafts, music, and other recreation including field trips into the community.

Opening:

Full-Time Recreation Assistant
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour flex schedule with greatly varying hours that may include evening and weekend shifts. The core shift is 1:00pm – 9:30pm Sunday – Thursday.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy, education, or related field preferred.
Prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities or special needs is preferred.
Ohio Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen in order to drive a Hattie Larlham vehicle.
Have the ability to become certified in First Aid, CPR, and as a Shallow Water Lifeguard – free training is provided!
